Unwind and soak up the stunning scenery while we drive through beautiful vineyards, the most prized wine region of Northern California.
Explore three different wineries, each with their very own charm, from small family-run wineries to large estates. The passionate and welcoming staff are eager to share their enthusiasm and knowledge of wine with you, and during an exclusive estate tour you can learn about the traditional and modern wine-making techniques and processes.
Enjoy some of the best wine in the world at the various wineries in Sonoma and Napa Valley, with each tasting offering a unique experience that you can only find in Northern California. You will have some time to explore a winery on your own before or after the tasting, and your tour guide will lead you from winery to winery while providing fun and helpful insights on the way.
Your tour starts at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, heading north for the first highlight of the tour - the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Take in the breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline and Alcatraz Island while riding across the 1.7-mile span of the bridge. The tour continues through the picturesque Marin County, heading further into California's world-famous wine region of Sonoma and Napa Valley.
We first visit a family-owned winery where the wine makers will proudly describe their traditional wine-making techniques and you can taste the wine from one of the world's finest wine-producing regions.
At lunch time we make a stop at V. Sattui Marketplace in St. Helena or Historic Downtown Sonoma Square with its charming shops, art galleries and a wonderful variety of dining options. Enjoy your time at leisure and relax on a lawn during a picnic, or sample some cheese and wine at one of the local shops before heading on to the next winery.
We continue the tour to a slightly higher elevation and cooler micro-climate where you will learn to appreciate what a difference a few miles can make in this diverse grape-growing region. Popular White Zinfandels thrive in this wine-tasting area where you can enjoy their sweeter, smoother profile and understand how they burst onto the California Wine Country scene in the '70s. We then head into the world-famous Napa Valley with a winery that exudes old world charm and you can taste more fine wine while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.
After a full day of indulging into the California wine country, simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic ride across the Golden Gate Bridge once more as the sun slowly starts to set into the Pacific Ocean.

Be part of our exclusive sightseeing walking tour through San Francisco's Mission district. We will explore the food and history of one of the most iconic neighborhoods in San Francisco. Dive deep inside its culture by trying delicious Oaxaca Mexican food and visiting the oldest church in SF Mission Dolores, classic Victorian architecture, and of course, the numerous murals celebrating the past and present Latin Culture. The tour starts at Mission San Francisco de Asis (also known as Mission Dolores), one of the oldest buildings in San Francisco. This chapel is home to exclusive religious art, and we will explore the rich history. You will be able to enjoy its gardens and explore the only cemetery within the city limits.
Just two blocks away you will find Mission Dolores Park. Formerly a Jewish Cemetery. Now one of the most popular and crowded parks in San Francisco. Spring and Summer months see the grass-lined with blankets as the locals enjoy community and sport. Moving through the park, we will pass Father Hidalgo's statute making our way to see the "Golden Fire Hydrant". This fire hydrant located at Church St. & 20th was the only functioning hydrant during the 1906 earthquake & fire. This single hydrant saved the Mission from destruction. This location being elevated affords a great view of the city.
We depart Mission Dolores Park to explore the surrounding neighborhoods where you will find extraordinary street art. You will enjoy the hidden wonders inside the Mission as well as the Mission Community pool, Bnai David's Synagogue, and the Women's building which hosts one of the most famous murals in San Francisco.
Our next stop will be at Cafe de Olla in the heart of the Mission. Cafe de Olla Restaurant makes everything from scratch, honoring the Oaxacan style cuisine where you will be tempted to taste typical Mexican dishes such as Quesadillas, Tamales, Tlayudas, and Tortillas, along with typical beverages such as Agua Fresca, Ice Caffe da Olla, and many other options. Cheer up and taste the "Chapulines"!
After enjoying the good meal, we continue our exploration of Mission Street. This vibrant and bustling community, full of traditional shops and old theaters. The pace of the locals conducting daily commerce is exciting, everywhere you look the unique architecture presents itself. Classic Victorian-style homes throughout the district we will examine some of the most popular on Lexington St & San Carlos St., different architecture styles and cultures in only a few blocks!
Finally, you will arrive at the most popular area, 24th Street that connects Mission Street with Potrero Street. Along this 8-block stretch, you will be faced with so many tantalizing choices; tacos at La Taqueria or rather pick up some pastry at La Reina Bakery or some coffee at the original Philz Coffee shop.
Before the end of this awesome trip, our tour guide will show you the amazing Balmy Alley. On this famous Mission District Street, you will be amazed by an extensive collection of murals. Most of them are an expression of outrage over human rights violations and political abuses in Central America.
San Francisco's pioneering activists and counter-cultural forces have powered societal change for over five decades, shaping the modern city and modern America. Walk around the Castro and Mission Districts, famous for the anti-war protests of 1967, Harvey Milk's civil rights campaign of the 1970s, and more recent protests against gentrification in one of the most attractive and exciting cities in the United States.
On your private guided tour, you will:
-See Harvey Milk Plaza and the LGBTQ protest grounds, the Pink Triangle Memorial, and the Rainbow Honor Walk;
-Enjoy sweeping downtown views from leafy Dolores Park;
-Admire the bold political murals and urban artworks in Clarion Alley;
-See the Old Spanish Mission, the Bay Area's most historic building with tickets included;
-Enjoy the stunning city views from Dolores Park;
-Stroll the hottest destination eateries, cafes, and food joints on Valencia Street;
-Finish your tour on Valencia Street, lined with shops, cafes, and food joints.
This Private Tour of Castro and Mission will introduce you to the city's hippest neighborhoods, notable for their LGBTQ communityand cool, artsy vibe. In the Castro, learn about the extraordinary accomplishments of SF residents in halting demolition, stopping four-lane freeways, and affecting positive change in feminism, peace, and LGBTQ rights. The neighborhood's many spirited LGBTQ bars range from brewpubs and bustling dives to ritzy drag shows.
You will hear how, today, America has elected more than 500 LGBTQ politicians into public office - from city council members, mayors, and members of Congress to state legislators and governors - yet, 40 years ago, the tally was just a handful of gay men and lesbians, of which Harvey Milk was one. On the Private Tour of Castro and Mission, explore Milk's Ground Zero and immerse yourself in the legacy of California's first openly gay elected official - and the role Castro played.
In the Mission District, you will venture down Clarion Alley and see the fabulous urban graffiti and satirical political street art as you stroll in the footsteps of feminists, Latinos, artists, and activists who continue to fight for the soul of San Francisco. Pop into the Mission Doloresto see the oldest building in San Francisco, along with shrubbery and a garden reflective of the mission in the early 1790s.
With a buzzing cultural mix and sizzling street food, Mission is famous for its galleries, neon-lit clubs, and basement bars and is blessed with the leafy greenery of picturesque Dolores Park.
Discover the tallest waterfalls in America, giant trees, enormous cliffs towering 3,600ft (1,200m) above the valley floor and some of the most famous climbing places in the world. Do not miss an incredible adventure in the middle of nature!
San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge offers great views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Golden Gate Bridge. En-route to the park we cross through the Central Valley, the largest agricultural region in the United States and famous for its rich volcanic soil. The section we drive through is best known for specialty fruits and nuts such as almonds, walnuts, cherries, and strawberries. We will make a stop at a fruit stand where you can experience the local produce. After this quick rest stop, we drive into the rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
Before long, enter the gold country and through towns that began during the gold rush before winding our way into Yosemite National Park. Your guide will provide history, stories, and practical information as you enter Yosemite's glaciated valley. Because of our small group size, we can incorporate multiple photo stops into the tour, so you can better enjoy your time in the park.
There will be plenty of time to observe and take pictures of the amazing rock formations, the horizon and the stunning waterfalls of Yosemite. During the tour you will see Yosemite Valley from several great vantage points, perhaps the best of which is a photo stop at Tunnel View. At 4,500 feet above sea level, this viewpoint gives you a spectacular view looking east into the valley. From the drop off location, you will have approx. 3 hours of free time to explore the valley as you choose. You can walk to the base of Yosemite Falls, check out the visitor centre, visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, stop in at the Ahwahnee Hotel, rent a cruiser bike, or hike some of the trails that originate from the valley.
Although you could spend three weeks in Yosemite, the three hours you get on your own is enough time to understand why Yosemite is one of America's most popular national parks. Regrouping again in the late afternoon, we head back to San Francisco, stopping for a short break before arriving back in the city.

We think you'll love this journey into the heart of one of the crown jewels of our country's national park system.
Just a few hours' drive from San Francisco, Yosemite National Park is the ideal break from the distractions of the city. And on this day-long Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Tour from San Francisco, you can immerse yourself in this truly extraordinary place.
One of our professional guides will lead your group through Yosemite Valley before taking in the unforgettable sight of the ancient Giant Sequoias of Tuolumne Grove. With 1.5 hours of free time in Yosemite Valley, you'll also have the opportunity to wander through the picturesque meadows, check out the Visitor's Center, or just find a serene overlook to sit and reflect. Do you have any pre-booking questions for us? Please don't hesitate to get in touch with your reservation inquiry.
Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Tour -- Exploring Tuolumne Grove
Located on Tioga Road just east of Crane Flat, the Tuolumne Grove has about two dozen mature Giant Sequoias. They are only visible after a one-mile hike with 500 feet of elevation loss. It's important to note that the one-mile hike back to the parking lot gains 500 feet and is strenuous. Water is not available; bring drinking water for everyone in your group who will be hiking this trail.
Due to the time constraints of this Yosemite guided tour from San Francisco, you must be able to complete the full hike within 1.5 hours. For most active travelers, this is not a problem. If you feel like this hike may be too much for you, you can join our standard Yosemite Day Tour for an equally enjoyable and memorable experience!
